Erich Forler has been a key player in making Linux accessible to the
general public. His involvement with Linux began with the Corel Computer
NetWinder Server project in 1998. He managed the launch of the first Corel
LINUX OS in 1999, the launch of the Xandros Desktop OS in 2002, as well as
subsequent Xandros product releases.
Erich has more than 17 years of experience with software development
companies, including 11 years as product manager at Corel, IMSI, Corel
Computer, Linmor and Xandros. He has managed products in a number of
software categories, including graphics, multimedia authoring, video
editing, data network management and Linux. He holds an honours Commerce
degree in marketing from the University of Ottawa.
