Biography
Jason Woytek
Managing Partner/ Senior Web and Applications Developer, PC Rescue of Texas.

Jason Woytek took over PC Rescue of Texas in October 2004, when it was a small brake-fix shop. He has since transformed it into a company that puts customers first. Mr. Woytek has the ability and desire to make all of a company's systems "play well together." He believes that there is value in allowing more than one operating system to exist on the same platform, because there are good features in each system. Until now, a company has had to either have two computers, or use the old, slow virtualization technology to operate both systems on one computer. While operating mostly in the Healthcare field, where interoperability is almost non-existent, Mr. Woytek is promoting open source technology to help reduce the overall price that hospitals and clinics pay for technology, which will allow them to focus on providing care for their patients. Mr. Woytek's background is a mixed one: He has spent 9 years in healthcare, as well as 14 years in sales, marketing, and business development. His current passion is to develop platforms and products that will actually make an impact in healthcare research. He prefers to use mostly open source technology, because it gives researchers the ability to interoperate between Linux and Windows, so that they can receive the best of both worlds. Mr. Woytek is married, and has two young daughters.
