Open Solutions Alliance forms to promote Interoperability between Open Source Solutions
Open Source software is no longer restricted to operating systems and middleware. One of the most exciting recent developments in the open source software industry has been the emergence of true enterprise-class solutions marrying applications, databases, and support. These solutions are rapidly being adopted by a wide range of businesses many of whom desire (and increasingly expect) such solutions to integrate and interoperate with one another. The Open Solutions Alliance has been formed to help guide and promote that process.
Join moderator Brian Behlendorf--founder of the Apache project and CTO of CollabNet--and leading executives from the Open Solutions Alliance, as they discuss the current state of the open source solutions industry and where it is headed. Topics covered will include the following:

» What are the benefits of open source solutions from different vendors working together? How, will these benefits be achieved?
