Framingham, MA, May 7, 2008 – IDG World Expo has announced that a new “Embedded Linux” track has been added to the Mobile Linux Conference program at LinuxWorld Conference & Expo®.  Presentations and panels will address a diverse range of topics including development and life-cycles of Linux-based devices, user interfaces, embedded virtualization and other enabling technologies, and case studies from key applications areas.  The Mobile Linux Conference is making its debut at this year’s event and will offer in-depth technical training, strategic insights, and hands-on experience in mobile Linux and open source opportunities and solutions.  LinuxWorld® is scheduled to take place August 4-7, 2008 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

FRAMINGHAM, MA. – August 2, 2006 LinuxWorld Conference & Expo, in conjunction with the Computer History Museum, recently joined forces in conducting a nationwide search for Linux and open source related memorabilia.  The search was carried out as one of the many planned events at this year’s Expo to recognize the 15 year anniversary of the kernel and preserve its revolutionary part of computer history.  Selected items received will be added to the museum’s collection in Mountain View, CA for its permanent collection.
