The Honeynet Project started in 1999, with the goal of learning more about IS attackers by maintaining closely-monitored and carefully-controlled networks of systems for them to attack. In the last five years, the project has revealed much about them, from motives to underground technology. This session will explain what the project has learned and what technology and practices we've learned.
