This talk will explain the essential differences between a corporate roadmap strategy and the Linux vision and technical excellence strategy including key points of contact between the two.
We will use the evolution of Linux Storage support as an example and give some pointers for its future direction.
Finally, we will explain how to expand the Linux technical vision with features from your own company's roadmap (i.e. how to get your patches into the kernel).
