Even as more and more enterprises are adopting Web services for certain business applications, the majority of enterprise applications are still relegated to the desktop. However, Web-scripting techniques like AJAX hold the power to change all that. Using AJAX, open source developers can create innovative, interactive Web applications for the enterprise, which extend the capabilities of a standard desktop application. This session will explore how developers can leverage AJAX for enterprise application development.
