Zachary Zeus worked in the US for one of the largest financial services company in the world. He was responsible for delivering business systems to the group Compliance and Risk areas of the company. His experience at the group level of a top 10 international insurer has provided him the breadth of experience to tackle large and small projects that are focused on delivering value to clients no matter how large the business process, how complicated the organizational structure or how varied the systems environment.
In identifying the key to success on these many varied projects he has focused on deploying information to people at times and in ways that make decision-making simple, straightforward and intuitive. This has been through analysis of reporting processes, delivering board level scorecards, providing decision point analyses and integrating business intelligence software into business processes.
Projects have included case management, strategic process and technology deployments, business reengineering, advanced analytic installations, call centre system design, surveillance system creation, SOX, anti money laundering, heat maps, scorecards, system consolidations, service oriented architecture design and deployments, and all the business processes associated with executing complex technology projects in a complex regulatory, and business environment.
His role deploying projects at a large US insurer included training trainers on the new applications. The main focus was to provide people the skills to deploy knowledge quickly and effectively throughout the organization.
He has been working with Pentaho and open source Business Intelligence for over a year and is the leading expert in the South Pacific and has recently become certified Pentaho Trainer.
