COO, OpenSpan, Inc.
Rob Bearden is currently the Chief Operating Officer for OpenSpan, a leading provider of desktop application integration software. In his role, Rob oversees all operations for the company including sales and pre-sales, channels, marketing, product management, services, operations, and finance. Prior to joining OpenSpan, Rob was COO for JBoss, a pioneer of the Professional Open Source business model and provider of the most widely used open source middleware products. Rob helped to architect and execute the JBoss business model and managed the company's worldwide operations until it was acquired by Red Hat Software in 2006. Prior to joining JBoss, Rob was at i2 Technologies, a leading supply chain solutions company, where he served as President of the Americas. Rob also served as senior vice president of worldwide sales for Manhattan Associates and spent six years at Oracle Corporation in various executive sales positions. Bearden started his career at Data General and ERI.
