 Eric Reifschneider is a partner in the Technology Transactions practice group of Cooley Godward Kronish. Mr. Reifschneider focuses on transactions involving the acquisition, development and commercialization of technology. His clients include Fortune 500 companies and startups in the software, hardware, semiconductor and wireless communications industries. He has negotiated agreements for software development, software licenses and source code escrows. He is also an expert in the intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including open source software issues. His clients include Borland, Quest Software and Synopsys.
Mr. Reifschneider graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he served as executive editor of the Harvard Law Review. He has Bachelor of Science degrees in physics and mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he graduated first in his class. In 2007, he was named one of the "Top 20 to Watch under 40" attorneys in California by The Daily Journal.
