 Prior to starting his new venture, Jay was CEO of Pingtel, the leading vendor of open source enterprise IP voice communications software. He founded and led the company until 2004, establishing it as the premier name brand for SIP-based products in the VoIP industry. Prior to Pingtel, Jay was vice president of Engineering at ON Technology, where he directed the acquisition of five companies in order to shift the company to one focused on TCP/IP technologies. Jay was also a senior analyst in Networking Service at Forrester research. He was the first Tier-1 industry analyst to provide insight for Global 2,000 IT managers into the emergence of the Internet and World Wide Web, as well as accurately forecast major shifts in the IP networking vendor marketplace. The remainder of his 20-year history is in marketing and engineering positions in computing hardware and software industries. He has a J.D. from the University of Denver.
