Prior to founding rPath, Billy served as Red Hat’s vice president of North America Sales from 2001 until 2005. Under his leadership, Red Hat’s enterprise business experienced extraordinary growth. Prior to his sales position, Billy conceived and oversaw the launch of Red Hat Network, the platform that enabled Red Hat’s subscription revenue model. Billy also worked in IBM Global Services where he worked with global leaders such as Boeing, Ford, Eaton, Mercedes Benz, and Raytheon. He began his career with General Electric where he held various production, supervisory, engineering and management positions with the Aerospace, Power Systems, and Motors divisions. Billy holds an Aerospace Engineering degree from Georgia Tech as well as MS degrees in Management and Engineering from MIT.
