Ranga Rangachari is President and CEO of GroundWork. Ranga has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and general management for software companies. Prior to joining GroundWork in July 2005, Ranga was CEO and founder of Invio Software, a leading provider of software to automate and control enterprise data storage operations. Invio's leading edge technology was licensed by enterprise software vendors including BMC Software and Veritas Software. The company was acquired by Veritas in July 2004 and is an integral part of Veritas' Utility Computing Strategy.
Previously, Rangachari spent 11 years at Legato Systems, a leader in enterprise storage management acquired by EMC in 2003. During his tenure, Rangachari held various senior management positions in sales, product management and strategic planning. As Vice President and General Manager of Intercontinental Sales, Rangachari increased Legato Systems'' revenue from Asia Pacific, Japan and Latin America by over 300 percent in less than 2 years.
