VP, Corporate and Business Development, Red Hat, Inc.
Michael Evans joined Red Hat in 1999. He has been VP, Business Development and VP, WW OEM & Channel Sales for Red Hat, and now looks at emerging business, geographic and technology areas for Red Hat. Prior to Red Hat he was a founder of Bluecurve, Inc., which specialized in systems management software, and prior to that was in charge of business development for Intel platforms at Sybase. He is involved in Red Hat's client-side technology strategy, and serves on the Board of Directors of the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) non-profit effort.
