Framingham, MA, March 13, 2007 – IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows and events for technology markets, today announced record-breaking results from the attendance certification audit performed by BPA World Wide for Macworld Conference & Expo® in San Francisco, held January 8-12, 2007. The number of overall visitors increased 19% from the 2006 event with 45,572 attendees in 2007, compared to 38,441 in 2006.

Framingham, MA, January 4, 2007 – IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows, conferences and events, announced that Macworld Conference & Expo® will kick off next week in San Francisco at the Moscone Center.  This year’s event promises to be the largest in years with a 28% increase in pre-show registrations over Macworld Conference & Expo 2006.  In addition, the new “Digital Lifestyle Experience” highlights expansion into North Hall at Moscone, hundreds of new products are expected to debut, and the exhibit hall will feature  almost 400 of the most innovative companies serving the Mac community.  Macworld also includes five days of world-class educational content, with conference sessions appropriate for Mac users of all levels and backgrounds.
3. 12/21/06The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus Celebrates 10 Years Of Free Music Education at Macworld Conference & Expo
FRAMINGHAM, MA, December 21, 2006 – The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, a unique non-profit state-of-the-art mobile recording and multimedia studio, will make its third appearance at Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, January 8-12, 2007. The Bus is celebrating its tenth year of touring the country and providing free workshops to kids in schools and community outreach facilities.  To celebrate their tenth year anniversary, bus organizers will debut Come Together: The Official John Lennon Educational Tour Bus Guide to Music and Video (Thomson), featuring a book signing with the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir on Tuesday, January 9th.  There has been tremendous celebrity support for the Bus over the last decade from artists including the Black Eyed Peas, John Legend, Macy Gray, Don Felder (Eagles), Pussycat Dolls, Pat Metheny, Tim McGraw, Al Jarreau, Vanessa Carlton, and a host of others.
